Frequently asked bike service questions

No, bring your bike in anytime!

Yes, we are happy to make an appointment for you if you don't want to leave your bike at the shop while it's waiting to be serviced. It is helpful for us to inspect the bike before the appointment to determine the repairs and parts necessary so we know how much time to allot to the appointment and if we need to special order any parts.

Bring your bike in anytime and we will give it a thorough inspection and estimate for repairs. From there, we can either check your bike into the lineup and hang onto it until it's your bikes turn, or make an appointment for you to bring your bike back once it's your bikes turn.

This varies depending on the type of service and time of year. There are many smaller services that we do our very best to complete either on the spot or same day. All major services such as tune ups, bike builds, or suspension services are on a first come first serve basis. Most of the year, that means 2-4 days, but during our peak season of April, May, and June, it can be upwards of 2 weeks. We will always try to provide an accurate timeline when we inspect and check in your bike for service.

Most of our repair services have a designated price no matter how long it takes as sometimes there's research required or we're interrupted. Check out our full service menu for pricing. In the off-chance that we don't have a price for your service, our rate is $100/hour.

We generally recommend a tune up once a year if you ride up to a couple times per week. Consider a more intensive tune up if you ride more often or regularly ride in wet conditions.

We will work on many pedal assist e-bikes as long as it is from a reputable bike brand, does not have a throttle, and the battery is removed prior to bringing into the store. We will only work on the bicycle specific parts of e-bikes and will not do any service to the motor, battery, or wiring of any e-bike that we did not sell. Unfortunately, e-bikes have been massively under regulated and there are far too many random, sketchy, internet brands that are too big of a liability for us to work on. We reserve the right to turn away any e-bikes brought to us for service.

We will work on almost all types and brands of bikes as long as we are confident that we can make the bike safe and rideable.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer mobile bike repair at the moment.
